Do you have some space to accomodate one man and his horse on their journey in the next 3/4 weeks? Exact timings still unknown.

GOOD AFTERNOON! I hope everyone is well. The heat keeps rising and The Big Hoof is getting bigger each day. Very exciting. I am just wondering if there is anyone who may have a field for Irelanda and I to use for a night in the PEAK DISTRICT?

We will be joining Louis Hall (Bear Cat) who will be doing a charity ride for Cystic Fibrosis from John o’ Groats to Lands End on the 18th of July – we will accompany him with a carriage for the first 6 days and 160 miles down from Caitness through the Flow Country to Sutherland then in to Strathalladale, Strathnaver down to Rosshire over the Struie and we will finish at Belladrum Beauly where he will have his first rest day with the Gibb Family – Louis will be riding one of our Highland Ponies all the way to Lands End 1085 miles We will not be doing our own funding page but if you would like to support us in anyway on the trip or would like to make a donation however small please see the link at the end of this article to the Just Giving Page for Louis for his charity ride called “The Big Hoof” and please donate for us there.
We have our route and overnight stops sorted in tne north but would love to see some of you on the way – I will post a more detailed timetable etc later
We have a great team doing this – myself and Louis on Irelanda and then our riders and grooms Shela-ann Ryan and Angela Ross and then Chef d’Equipe and Support Driver Euan Middlemiss We plan to a lot of fun and laughs along the way
A big shout out to those that have helped us already with all the planning, offered help and overnight stops, I hope I have not left anyone out 
On 17th July, Irelanda and I will begin our journey from John O’Groats to Land’s End for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust: The Big Hoof. I expect the ride to take between 6-7 weeks. We want to average between 20 – 25 miles a day, but we will see what happens on the way…
In 2015, Leo, a family friend of mine, died from Cystic Fibrosis. He was 26. Leo was an incredible inspiration, friend and human being to everyone he met. He chose to live his 26 years full of love and hope; he never wasted a second, and remains a hero to many. I am now not so much younger than he was when he died, and during the spread of the Coronavirus, I realised how many people with underlying health issues, such as CF, would need serious help and support during, and after, the spread of the virus.
Cystic Fibrosis is a condition that can directly inhibit the lungs; Leo would have been extremely vulnerable during these times.
This challenge is something I am doing independently for all those who suffer from the horrors of Cystic Fibrosis, and for Leo. Nothing that anyone does can overturn the suffering that Cystic Fibrosis inflicts upon an individual and their family, but with each step that Irelanda and I take, and with every donation big and small, we will all be fighting this disease and helping to prevent further loss in the future.
